The research paradigm of the Newark Schools Research Collaborative is based in part on the model provided by the Consortium on Chicago School Research. In addition, building upon the successful work of Institute on Education Law and Policy, Newark Schools Research Collaborative draws upon the interdisciplinary expertise of social scientists, educators and education lawyers to provide a comprehensive approach to urban school reform and improvement.
